Eating Out & On The Go!

I am a real social butterfly, I love being out with friends and family often.  I am a traveler and do a lot of business meetings for my companies, so knowing what to eat when out at many restaurants is helpful. Or even if you are on the road and something came up last minute and you can't get home to grab something, "What do you do?"  Never feel like you cannot do the same things anymore with your peers.  Read through this list and message me personally - I will help ya for sure!  The restaurants below are in alphabetical order, for your convenience.

To be on the safe side with eating out and on the go follow these simple things:
-check the menu before you get there if you can
-always order water (to be safe) and ask for it in a wine glass hehe...don't judge me hehe
-you can never go wrong with ordering a salad, rice, veggies (asked them to be steamed not cooked in butter), a pasta with marinara sauce, baked potato you can put oil n vinegar n seasonings on, or beans
-salsa a chips are a great side item
-sometimes a chef will make something special up for you if you just tell them you want veggies pasta and red sauce, for example
-most places you can actually just order many things right off menu, just ask to hold the cheese or meat or whatever else it is topped with that isn't vegan
-if you are comfortable when nobody is looking, as for a nutritional menu for the restaurants' menu options
-stop at a gas station on way there and get some nuts or vegan chips (you will be surprised some chips are vegan by default so look at the ingredients) to eat ahead of time or during your meeting instead of grabbing one of those donuts with cream inside
-always have snacks in your car (dried fruit, chips, vegan protein bars, nuts, seeds, etc.)
-most ethnic restaurants have vegetarian/vegan options since most of them eat that way themselves (Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, etc.)
-and when all fails just open your "Happy Cow" App and find another place to eat or even recommend something different for your date, friends, family, or meeting
