The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

The animals of the world exist for their own reason.  They were not made for humans anymore than black people were made for whites, or women created for men…-Alice Walker

Ok so below is nothing near what I would rather share with everyone about the meat industry which is why I HIGHLY recommend you at least watch Earthlings for free on their website and share with others.  Its a brutal documentary but everyone should know where 90% of our meats come from.  Care enough to know what you are really putting in and on your body and to potentially consider not eating so much of it (or even going vegan one day).  The more forcefully we ignore something, the more power it has over us and the more strongly it WILL influence us.  Remember, just not eating flesh is a start but keep in mind byproducts are everywhere..milk, eggs, butter, honey, cheese, sauces, certain cereals, etc.  You can save hundreds of animals, thousands of gallons of clean water per day, and even ending world hunger by being VEGAN.

I know everyone knows that an animal was killed for them to be able to eat it but you have NO IDEA what that really means.  I mean would you kill your neighbor? - I would guess not because they have done nothing threatening to your life, you don't really talk to them, they don't deserve dying yet or so young, and killing them will produce blood on your hands for no reason at all.....STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT!  It is hard to trust any of the companies now a days..they grind foreign meats together-I mean we sometimes are eating deer and rotten meat and not know it.  The health care industries and agencies all work together to make sure the food industry continues to make money from our high demand of consumption of meat rather then spend more money on more credible inspectors for these farmers and slaughter houses.  From extremely unsanitary facilities that deliver to even large "health food" stores to processing meats that don't come out the right color and just packaging it with baby and dog food-then marking it organic.  You just never know.

And I know what you are thinking...even if you were to get meat from your backyard or family farmer, that animalis not supposed to be consumed by us as it still contributes to tons of illness due to the high percentages of pure fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and too high levels of protein in our bodies.  We are the only species on earth that still drinks milk as an adult and another species milk at that-and we wonder why 8 is the average age that girls start womanhood.  Just try eliminating meat once a week (you and your family) and you could save lives, the planet, and moreso yourself (every little bit counts)! This is all about education and love for one another, sorry for any harshness.  Below see just a small glimpse of what being a VEGAN could do...
